Techbros provides certified electronics recycling for businesses and residents. Eligible business pickups may be free, while residents can bring accepted electronics to the Scottsdale drop-off facility. Fees may apply to TVs, CRT monitors, and certain difficult-to-process items.
Does Techbros pick up old computers and electronics from businesses?
Yes. Techbros provides scheduled electronics pickup for businesses, schools, government agencies, healthcare organizations, data centers, and other commercial facilities. Pickup eligibility and pricing depend on the equipment type, quantity, location, and required handling.
What electronics can I recycle with Techbros?
Techbros accepts computers, laptops, servers, phones, tablets, printers, networking equipment, storage devices, monitors, gaming systems, office electronics, power supplies, and many other electronic items. Contact the team before bringing batteries, damaged equipment, TVs, or unusual industrial devices.
How does Techbros protect data on recycled computers?
Data-bearing equipment can be sanitized, degaussed, shredded, crushed, or otherwise physically destroyed based on the media type and security requirements. Business projects can include serialized tracking, chain of custody documentation, and a Certificate of Data Destruction.
What is IT asset disposition?
IT asset disposition, or ITAD, is the secure process of retiring business technology. It can include inventorying equipment, removing devices, destroying stored data, refurbishing reusable assets, recovering resale value, and recycling equipment that cannot be reused.
Will my company receive proof that its electronics were recycled?
Business clients can receive documentation such as asset reports, Certificates of Recycling, and Certificates of Data Destruction. The exact documentation should be defined before pickup, especially when serial-level reporting, regulatory compliance, or witnessed destruction is required.
Does Techbros provide electronics recycling outside Arizona?
Yes. Techbros advertises business ITAD and electronics recycling services across multiple states and nationwide project support. Availability, minimum quantities, pickup schedules, and logistics should be confirmed for each location.
Can residents schedule home pickup for unwanted electronics?
The residential program is currently drop-off only at the Scottsdale warehouse. Businesses and organizations can request pickup services for larger quantities of electronics.
Can a business recover money from old computers and servers?
Possibly. Reusable equipment may qualify for refurbishment, remarketing, or revenue sharing after data has been securely removed. Recovery value depends on equipment age, condition, specifications, market demand, quantity, and processing costs.
